Responsibilities
- Conduct land surveys using specialised equipment to gather accurate geographical data.
- Prepare detailed survey reports and maps using AutoCAD, ArcGIS, and CAD software.
- Analyse survey data to determine boundaries, topography, and other relevant features.
- Collaborate with construction teams to provide survey support during project planning and execution.
- Manage data efficiently, ensuring all information is correctly stored and maintained for future reference.
- Assist in the design and implementation of survey plans aligned with project specifications.
- Ensure all surveying activities comply with legal standards, safety regulations, and organisational policies.
- Support environmental assessments and land development initiatives through precise data collection.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in land surveying or related field; prior experience with construction projects is advantageous.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, ArcGIS, CAD, and data management tools.
- Strong understanding of land surveying techniques, legal boundary laws, and mapping standards.
- Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in data collection and analysis.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and plans accurately.
- Good communication skills for effective collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
- Relevant qualifications such as a degree or diploma in Geomatics, Surveying Engineering or equivalent recognised qualification are preferred.
