Role: Associate analyst
Location: Pune
Purpose: Work with seniors and clients to understand work requirements, to review emails for collecting documents, and extract performance data for funds in alternative investments.
Responsibilities:
- Follow and develop internal processes to execute data onboardings in an organized, accurate, and timely fashion.
- Demonstrate an ability to differentiate between various alternative investments (hedge fund and private equity funds) and document types (Capital account statements and Fact sheets).
- Read financial and/or investment reports of world-renowned private equity, LBO and hedge funds in order to extract relevant information from them.
- Check for data accuracy and be responsible for data integration.
- Participate in improving the data gathering and reporting process.
- Daily supervision of the automatic processes and ensuring data delivery deadlines are met.
- Participate in building/developing automated document management process.
- Deliver high-quality results that have a material positive impact on client success.
- Manage Excel workflows and communicate through email exchange.
Experience & Skills
- A degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, computer science or similar. (BE- IT Can also apply)
- Advanced MS Excel skills (V-Lookups, Pivot tables, macro recording, etc.).
- Experience with query design in SQL would be an advantage.
- Creativity and thinking in perspective are a must.
- English language proficiency.
- Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
- Problem Solving approach.
