Head Chef/Kitchen Manager

Job Description:

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Head Chef specializing in Indian cuisine to lead our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Indian culinary traditions, strong leadership skills, and a flair for creativity to develop menus that excite and delight our guests. Key Responsibilities

  • Kitchen Leadership:
  • Oversee daily kitchen operations and ensure smooth service.
  • Manage and coordinate with other chefs and kitchen staff.
  • Training & Development:
  • Train, mentor, and motivate kitchen team members.
  • Maintain high standards of food preparation and presentation.
  • Menu & Recipe Development:
  • Create and update menus with authentic and innovative Indian dishes.
  • Develop new recipes and bring fresh ideas to enhance the dining experience.
  • Quality & Compliance:
  • Ensure food quality, hygiene, and safety standards are consistently met.
  • Monitor inventory, control costs, and minimize waste.
  • Service Excellence:
  • Lead the kitchen during service, ensuring timely and consistent output.
  • Collaborate with front-of-house staff for seamless guest experience.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Head Chef or Senior Chef in Indian cuisine.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Creativity and passion for food innovation.
  • Excellent knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations.
  • Ability to work under pressure and maintain high standards.
